I mean, to spice them up, I give them all a free hacked telescope so that they can go visit aliens whenever they want and then deal with the consequences of the Alien Experiments mod. Static = boring.ĪND a Pleasure Sim's want panel is never completely full of "I want to sit on my ass for hours/days/weeks and study 'X'" wants, like Knowledge Sims. I also play pretty much strictly according to my Sims' wants (as in, my goal is to fulfill them, whatever crazypants things they roll), and Pleasure Sims are sort of endearingly ADHD, constantly wanting to do different silly things, so they're always on the move and their wants panel is never static. I hate doing the dating thing, so that was what killed my enthusiasm for the aspiration. I use to hate the Pleasure aspiration, to the point that I disallowed it in my game, but now that I have a mod that allows any LTW for any aspiration, the Pleasure Sims don't mostly get dating LTWs.
Avoiding boredom is important since I tend to play long-term hoods, once I settle into one.
